This page contains a list of the new features added to EmailVerify.NET, starting from version 3.0 (current major version).


Version 3.3, released on April 6, 2010

  • Support for newer HotMail/MSN/Live mail servers
  • Catch-all validation up to 80% faster than previous versions!
  • Full compliance check (RFC 1035, RFC 1123, RFC 2181) for second level and higher domains parts in syntax verification
  • Renewed symbol compliancy checker for local parts of e-mail addresses (RFC 2822)
  • Added new LocalSenderAddressRejected failure type, which will point out an explicit rejection of the LocalSenderAddress value by external mail servers

Version 3.2, released on March 14, 2010

  • Ability to validate addresses for hosts without explicit MX DNS records (RFC 5321)
  • Updated disposable e-mail address (DEA) validation
  • Minor bug fixes

Version 3.1, released on November 24, 2009

  • New SOCKS4, SOCKS5 and HTTP-Connect proxy support
  • New fully managed DNS resolver implementation, which totally replaces the native one used in previous versions
