Frequently Asked Questions - Configuration

What is the LocalSenderAddress property used for?

The LocalSenderAddress property represents the email address of the EmailVerify.NET verification process, when it connects to the outside in order to perform its checks. It may be a fake value and its default value is postmaster@<LocalHostFqdn>, where <LocalHostFqdn> is the value of the LocalHostFqdn property.

To benefit from the eventual presence of an SMTP server in your machine and increase validation accuracy, this property could be set equals to a real mailbox address that SMTP server could handle.
